25-player abilities Edyis Darkbane

Channels for 5 seconds inflicting 5850 to 6150 damage every 1 sec for 5 sec. 8 second cast * Surge of Darkness — Pulsing a Surge of Darkness Inflicting 1500 damage every 2 sec to Light enemies. * Touch of Darkness — The Val'kyr's Dark touch has affected you, inflicting 7313 to 7687 Dark damage to players under the effect of Light Essence every 1 sec. The Touch of Darkness will not harm targets with the same attributes as it. * Unleashed Dark — The Concentrated Darkness releases its energies inflicting 12188 to 12812 Dark damage to enemies within 8 yards. * Twin Spike — The Twin Spike inflicts 100% weapon damage and increases damage taken by 20% for 15 sec or for 10 charges.

Basic 25-man Strategy
The Twins will not aggro when you talk to the NPC to begin the encounter.
Split the raid in equal halves, one on each side. Have each half click light and dark portals respectively, this will not aggro the twins. The half with dark essence will engage the Val'kyr named Lightbane and the half with the light essence will engage the Val'kyr named Darkbane. You will gain a damage bonus when attacking the opposite color Val'kyr. Keep the Twin Val'kyr seperated and tanked near a portal of their color.
This encounter is not difficult and is mainly about reacting to their abilities properly and having DPS run to the orbs that move around the room in order to prevent the bosses from powering up. Both Light and Dark energy orbs move randomly around the room and touching them will destroy them causing 7,000 damage to opposite colour players and powering up matching colour players, giving a speed and damage boost. Should they touch the bosses the bosses will be powered up as well.
The Twins have two main important abilities: Vortex and Twin's Pact. Both of these involve one half of the raid switching their colour and then switching back after the ability is over.
Twin's Pact: One of the Twins will shield herself (DBM will indicate which is shielded) and begin casting a 15 second heal for 20% of their maximum HP (We need to DPS burn the 250K off and then interrupt the heal). The half of the raid not currently attacking her will need to switch colors and DPS her until the shield is down then interrupt her heal. After the heal is over switch your color back to normal.
Vortex: One of the Twins will begin an eight second cast. The half of the raid of the opposite colorr will need to switch their colour to match the vortex. I.E. Darkbane begins casting Dark Vortex so the light half of the raid will need to switch until the Vortex is over, then switch back. The other half can ignore this ability safely. Vortex deals about 30,000 damage to players who do not switch. Basically its an AOE that we need to avoid, hence we stand near the portals, the DBM or boss mod will indicate the cast and you click the opposite portal to change colors, DPS if you want on the other boss, melee just wait, then switch back once the AOE has been cast and resume DPS.
Conclusion:
The Twins deal insignificant tank and raid damage otherwise. The only thing that will cause you to wipe on this encounter is the Twins' being touched by too many orbs and powering up, or losing too many DPS to Vortex and being unable to stop their heal.
With the Twin Val'kyr defeated, everyone is ready to celebrate... when the floor of the coliseum collapses and drops players into the Icy Depths of Azjol-Nerub.
