Guild Structure
Entombed Souls has a ladder system for responsibility within the guild based on activity, community involvement, dedication and raiding attendance. Those that put in the time are rewarded with priority loot and approvals for raiding, while at the same time we appreciate any time any of our members can put in towards the community we are a Raiding Guild.
As such, please review all of the ranks below and understand that you are expected to help the guild when needed by the Guild for Raids while a member of the Guild no matter what rank your standing is.
Meaning, Alts, Casual through the GM himself are required to attend or fill a position in a scheduled raid if you are online at the time of the raid and the guild needs assistance. Even if you can only be online for 30 mins, that time in Raid will allow continuation until a replacement can be found. Of course we realize at times you may be at a Hotel on business, online for 5 mins to check mail, etc, these are exceptions to the rule, BUT it's also important to derstand that if you deny the guild your involvement during a raid to play an alt, do a 5-man, PvP or just hang those are terms in which you may be removed from the Guild.
Ranks:
Alt - Basic status of a secondary toon for a member. Alts are the low end of priority on the board. A level 70 Alt may be used for raiding if the Raid Leader is short a certain class, but may not be used to Raid with at your discretion. Alts may gain DKP if the Raid Leader approves the use of the Alt or the DKP may be used for your Main.
Casual - Casual status is for friends or family that may want to join Entombed for the community aspect and help in leveling or in 5 or 10-man instances. Casual members may also be people that can not commit to a regular schedule with raiding, but still would like to raid with Entombed when given the chance. Therefore, Casuals may sign up for raids when they like, but are last in priority. Casuals that are approved before the start of the Raid may be replaced only by a Raider Rank on the day of the raid.
A secondary use of Casual is for inactive or members that are going to be gone for a period of time.
Recruit - He/she will be recruit from invite for at least a week of active time. Meaning if he/she is recruited and needs to be active for at least 7 days. Following the 7 day period a vote will be conducted on the website to determine if they are to be bumped up to next level, extended as recruit or asked to leave/kicked.
Member - An active member for the Recruit period and has been approved by vote of the officers into the guild. Will remain member until meeting Raid Member standards for DPS, Healing, or Tank Specifications for the Guild's current progression goal and until they meet the 70% attendance policy. Members are approved before Casuals, but can not replace an approved Casual the day of the raid, so sign-ups are the only guarantee for a raid over causal players.
Crafter - Crafters are specialty members that have access to the Guild Vault for making items to buff members of the guild. On terms of Raiding they are at the same level in Rank as a Member. If you poses a crafting skill that will help the guild please ask for this status if you are already a member and are willing to help out in Mat Collection and Creation. If you are found to be selling items from the bank you will be immediately demoted to member and will be reviewed for a good ole GKICK.
Raider - Next Step up from Member. Members may become Raiders if they meet gear requirements for the specific progression instance; maintain a 70% attendance and have a minimum of six raids under their belts. Officers approve the promotion to Raiders and demotion of Raiders and reserve the right to base their decisions on all factors not just attendance. Raiders have priority for approvals over members for raids. Raiders receive priority in loot if a tie exists on bids.
Council - Council members are the "Guild Leaders" that have extensive knowledge of their class and the role they play within the Raid. They will be the class leaders and have a chance to lead raids. Involvement includes recruiting, votes on recruit to member status, strategists for the next encounter, evaluate webstats for specific raids, loot priorities and dkp system understanding. They are the guilds primary source of information when Officers are not available.
Officer - Officers are required to be involved in Guild Decisions on a daily basis. Involvement includes votes on members; guild progression strategy, loot priorities, DKP system maintenance, bank rules, guild rules and regs, raid leader, maintaining webstats and guild website.
